Manchester United Could Look to 4-3-3 in Paul Pogba’s Absence

Ander Herrera Could be a Key Player in Paul Pogba's Absence if Manchester United Use a 4-3-3 via @ManUtd

Manchester United have been in exhilarating form to start the season.  They have already scored 16 goals in their first 5  league matches after scoring just 54 all of last season.  The addition of Romelu Lukaku this summer has made them far more potent in attack.

Nemanja Matic’s arrival from Chelsea has perhaps been of greater significance though.  He has helped to improve their fluency in attack with his ability to shield the defense on his own.  This has given Paul Pogba license to roam forward more freely in possession.

It has also allowed Jose Mourinho to use a 4-2-3-1 to get a 4th attacker on the pitch.  This was an option United simply lacked last season.
